The OCTOPLUS 500 MBE system was developed for the growth of high-quality III/V or II-VI heterojunction materials on a 6-inch substrate. The sample stage is heated with pyrolytic graphite or tungsten or tantalum heating wires. The OCTOPLUS 500 MBE system is widely recognized as highly suitable for the research, development, and production of III/V, II/VI, or other heterostructure material growth applications.
The main characteristics of the OCTOPLUS 500 MBE system are extremely high reliability and universality. The standard Octopus 500 has 11 radially distributed source holes, and 3 additional source holes can be selected as needed. The rapid vacuum injection chamber is equipped with a horizontal magnetic rod transmission system, which can easily transfer samples without damaging the vacuum of the MBE chamber.
